Packing For Your Cruise
Onboard dress codes vary from casual to formal! Every sailing has theme night parties, which you can find in the “Daily Planner” tab of the Royal Caribbean App. One example is Formal Night in the Main Dining Room, where all guests are encouraged to dress their best!
Guests who want to participate in sports activities, like rock-climbing, should pack closed-toed shoes. Are pool days your thing? Then a few bathing suits are a must! Ultimately, packing will depend on what you like to do. Click here to learn more about the exciting activities onboard.
Things to consider
There are items that are best left at home — please review our prohibited items list to know what you can skip packing.
Some onboard activities & shore excursions may require specific apparel. Be sure to check the descriptions for each to find out what’s required.
Traveling with a little cruiser? While all children must be 100% potty trained to use the pools, whirlpools, or H2O zones — bring extra swim diapers for the Baby Splash Zone onboard.
Prepare for Boarding Day
Print your luggage tags located on the last page of the Vacation Documents we emailed you a few weeks ago. Attach them to your luggage before porter drop off outside the cruise terminal.
Pack a carry-on bag with all your necessities — travel documents, medications & toiletries, valuables, a change of clothes for dinner, and anything else you may need early in the day (like a bathing suit, perhaps?). The rest of your luggage will be delivered to your stateroom a few hours after we set sail. For some guests, this may be after dinner.
Check-in at your Muster Station after boarding and locate your stateroom number on your SetSail Pass. When we advise your room is ready, head there to drop off your carry-on luggage. Pick up your SeaPass card located on the room number sign outside your door — no need to stop by Guest Services — then, dive straight into the fun!
Eight islands in 14 days on the beautiful Majestic Princess. We were impressed with the friendliness of the crew. Great and fun entertainment. I love game shows -mostly to watch-and they had the best venue for it in Princess Live. I want to do this fantastic itinerary again! St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Martinique, St. Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad, Aruba, Curaçao.
In March of 2024, I took a cruise aboard the Scarlet Lady, the first ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, Here is my quick review of that cruise and ship!
