Since the CDC regulations took effect on Tuesday, 1/26, ALG Vacations™ has been closely monitoring the execution of the new testing protocols. I’m pleased to report that the in-destination testing has been going well, and we’ve received very positive feedback from clients and travel advisors in resort.
That being said, to help ensure that test results are received in time, we strongly suggest that your customers take their test 2-3 days prior to departure depending on the applicable country entry requirements, and not wait until the day before their return flight (the test must be administered no sooner than 3 days prior to departure to the U.S.). Please note that we have updated our FAQs in regard to in-destination testing timeframes. Should a guest test positive, they need to work directly with their hotel on their options.
We’re happy to announce that many hotels have extended complimentary testing and quarantine coverage past March 31st, including major chains like AMResorts, Iberostar and RIU Hotels & Resorts.
Eight islands in 14 days on the beautiful Majestic Princess. We were impressed with the friendliness of the crew. Great and fun entertainment. I love game shows -mostly to watch-and they had the best venue for it in Princess Live. I want to do this fantastic itinerary again! St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Martinique, St. Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad, Aruba, Curaçao.
In March of 2024, I took a cruise aboard the Scarlet Lady, the first ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, Here is my quick review of that cruise and ship!
