Our restart of guest operations continues, and we’ve given tens of thousands of guests a great vacation over the last eight weeks, with eight of our ships now sailing, and more to come.
As we look ahead to November and December, we are happy to announce that in addition to three other ships which will restart from the East and Gulf coasts, Carnival Radiance will commence sailing from Long Beach on December 13, 2021.
The following ships will operate as vaccinated cruises through December 31, including your cruise. These sailings will adhere to the current vaccination, testing, and mask requirements and the limited vaccine exemption process we are following today:
Long Beach: Carnival Panorama, Carnival Miracle and Carnival Radiance (effective 12/13/21)
It’s important that you become familiar with all aspects of our pre-cruise and onboard protocols. They are laid out very comprehensively on our Have Fun. Be Safe. page on Carnival.com . We are not going to go into detail here, and instead, ask you to visit our website, but at a high level, they include the following:
VACCINATED VOYAGES
In response to the increasing number of cases of COVID-19 in the U.S. caused by the Delta variant, our protocols and requirements include pre-cruise testing for fully vaccinated guests and an onboard mask policy for all guests. The guests who have sailed on our vaccinated cruises have responded very positively to our protocols, and we are happy with the guest experience we are able to deliver.
VACCINATED GUESTS
Vaccinated cruises are available for guests who have received their final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the sailing date. Guests will be asked to confirm their status as fully vaccinated by completing their pre-cruise vaccine attestation and presenting proof of vaccination at the time of check-in, as follows:
Original vaccination record issued by the country’s health authority that administered the vaccination (i.e., U.S. CDC's Vaccination Record Card).
The name and birth date on the vaccination card must match the guest’s travel documents and show the guest is fully vaccinated, i.e., the guest has received the required doses of an approved vaccine no later than 14 days prior to the sailing date.
Additionally, fully vaccinated guests must present the negative results of a COVID-19 test (PCR or Antigen) taken within two days prior to the sailing date.
Vaccinated guests do not have to maintain physical distancing on board and when at a destination, they may enjoy a Carnival-operated tour or independent sightseeing. Families traveling with children should know we are currently not planning to offer our Camp Ocean supervised children’s program on their cruise.
Eight islands in 14 days on the beautiful Majestic Princess. We were impressed with the friendliness of the crew. Great and fun entertainment. I love game shows -mostly to watch-and they had the best venue for it in Princess Live. I want to do this fantastic itinerary again! St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Martinique, St. Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad, Aruba, Curaçao.
In March of 2024, I took a cruise aboard the Scarlet Lady, the first ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, Here is my quick review of that cruise and ship!
