On Monday, the European Union elected to remove the United States from its “safe list” and recommended that its member nations prohibit non-essential travel from the US. The media coverage of this event has created a climate of increased anxiety and confusion, leading many to believe that Americans will be denied entry to EU member countries. This comes in the midst of our peak travel season, with many of our mutual clients anticipating their upcoming travels that have been previously delayed, in some cases multiple times. In light of the broad misunderstanding of this development in Europe, and any misinformation being disseminated, it is incumbent on all of us to serve our clients and our industry by confidently sharing facts and information that are grounded in reality.
• The EU vote is only a recommendation to its member countries
• The EU has no authority to require that countries restrict entry to travelers from the US
• To date, no countries have elected to follow the EU recommendation to deny entry to US travelers
• Tauck will notify advisors of any changes to the status of our upcoming journeys
Eight islands in 14 days on the beautiful Majestic Princess. We were impressed with the friendliness of the crew. Great and fun entertainment. I love game shows -mostly to watch-and they had the best venue for it in Princess Live. I want to do this fantastic itinerary again! St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Martinique, St. Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad, Aruba, Curaçao.
In March of 2024, I took a cruise aboard the Scarlet Lady, the first ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, Here is my quick review of that cruise and ship!
